Plastic lifting block for casement window

The lifting block plays an important role in the stable operation, load-bearing protection, and sealing performance of the window sash. Its core function is to avoid problems such as sash sagging, jamming during opening and closing, and reduced sealing performance that are prone to occur in casement windows after long-term use.

A)Core functions: "Lightening the load" and "guiding" the window sash
The sash of a casement window is connected to the window frame via hinges or slider stays. After long-term use, the self-weight of the sash will gradually cause slight deformation of the hardware, leading to sash sagging. At this point, the gap between the sash and the frame widens, which not only causes air and water leakage but also leads to a sudden increase in frictional resistance during opening and closing, and even "jamming". The design logic of the lifting block is as follows:

B)Load distribution: By cooperating with the window frame and sash, it distributes part of the sash's self-weight to the frame structure, reducing the load on hinges/slider stays and delaying the aging of hardware;

C)Guiding and lubrication: Equipped with rollers (mostly made of stainless steel), it converts sliding friction during sash opening and closing into rolling friction, reducing resistance and making opening and closing smoother;

D)Precision alignment: Through the cooperation of fixed blocks and movable blocks, it guides the sash to move along a fixed trajectory, ensuring precise fitting with the frame when closed and enhancing sealing performance.

Fixed block: Installed on the profile of the window frame to ensure a stable guiding track for the movable block;

Movable block: Installed at the bottom of the window sash, and its position must be precisely aligned with the fixed block to ensure that the roller can smoothly fit into the track of the fixed block. When closing, the roller of the movable block slides along the track of the fixed block, assisting the sash in tightly fitting the frame; when opening, the roller drives the sash to separate smoothly, avoiding edge friction and jamming.

Key material: The plastic part is made of new nylon, and the "durability secret" lies in the stainless steel roller, which is the "core" of the lifting block.
